The price of an artwork is typically set by the artist, dealer, or auction house, depending on the nature of the transaction. Dealers and galleries set their own pricing based on market trends, the artist’s career stage, and previous sales records, while auction houses set their own estimates and reserves influenced by historical data and collector demand.

Prospective collectors can approach their interests through developing a strategic plan with me as their art advisor. We’ll figure out what numbers and attributes make the most sense for various situations or projects. I personally love working closely with my clients on conducting thorough research and gaining contractual and payment clarity for all parties involved.
